Training Pages

We have worked together with healthcare professionals, employers, and people with lived experience of perinatal mental health issues to co-create training sessions which aim to improve the understanding of perinatal mental health issues.


We have a wide range of training opportunities available for healthcare professionals, non-clinical community support workers, new/expectant parents, friends and family, and employers.


All sessions are virtual unless specified otherwise. In order to participate in virtual sessions, you will need access to a laptop/mobile device and a stable internet connection. No specific resources are required for in-person sessions. Attendance details will be supplied when you have signed up to a training session.

Who is this course aimed towards: Health and social care professionals or practitioners who provide care and support to pregnant women, women who have a child up to a year old, and their partners (e.g. medics, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, general practitioners, peer support workers etc.).

Who is this course aimed towards: Non-clinical community support workers who can provide support to new/expectant parents (e.g. doulas and people who facilitate local community groups such as breastfeeding buddies, mother & baby groups etc. and intergenerational community support groups).

Who is this course aimed towards: Family and friends of new/expectant parents who might be experiencing PMI

Who is this course aimed towards: employers who want to find out more about emotional and practical support for new and expectant parents
